Included in the terms of reference of the Trust is the duty placed upon the Trustees ‘to perpetuate the name, history and memory of the former Regiment.’
To this end, a bronze statue of Rifleman Khan was commissioned in 2023,
As custodians of a limited fund, care is taken by the Trustees both to preserve its capital and to try to add to it through fund-raising. A number of spin-off actions, resulting from the creation of the Khan statue, are being actively considered.
