9 August 2024 will herald the 100th Anniversary of the unveiling by Earl Haig of the Cameronians (SR) Regimental Memorial at Kelvingrove, Glasgow.
A high-profile event is being planned to to commemorate the occasion.
Agreement in principle has been received from Glasgow City Council to provide a Civic Reception.
The first step will be to determine the format of the event and, as it is likely that some attendees may have a significant distance to travel, it is hoped to offer a range of activities over the course of the weekend. Watch this space!
